A WoF-Con?

I realize how much planning and money such an insane idea would take but just think about it for a second. If other fandoms can do it, why not us? It could be like Scholastic Con but unofficial- and not run by Scholastic because we can all agree Scholastic sort of lazes around with WoF-related material of any kind. We could have legit merchandise, meet other WoF fans in real life, and most importantly, expand and gain recognition of our fandom. 

We have coders, business people, leaders, artists, writers, graphic designers, all in our fandom. If we really wanted such a convention to happen and lifted it off the ground instead of just planning and never doing it, we could do this. I've been thinking of organizing a WoF-Con for a long time already and I have lots of ideas, but let's see what you think.

This is just an idea stage to see if people would be interested in this idea, so expect lots of planning and no doing for now- although if we amass enough people's attention it could be a literal thing. So if you could please share this journal entry or favorite it or comment, whatever, just get the word out and we'll see how many people respond.
